Default Threw a P0601 PCM Internal Ctrller Failure

What does this mean? Is this the computer because if it is this is the second one I have put in my D since I bought it. How long can I drive before something will not work?

I can only add that that code is in the Emissions section of the code list in my '01 FSM.

Meaning what? I have had a lot of emission issues since owning this vehicle. It should be almost all new. So is the problem caused by emissions or the PCM going bad?
Thanks Jeeper Don

Get a PCM. Many times the reman facility doesn't get rid of that code. You may be doing it again soon.

Thanks,
I got the PCM from a place in Charlotte, NC and I think it came with a lifetime replacement. Will need to confirm this.
