Default Rear brakes will not bleed

99 durango 5.2 4x4

Front disk rear drum

Brake line (left side from front to rear along the left frame) rusted through andifferent I replaced it. Tried to bleed with no luck. I know sometimes you can bleed the fronts to get the proportion valve to open again but it's not working. I have done both having someone pump/hold brakes and vacuum method. I have read keep hitting the proportion valve and it will open up but I honestly don't know where it's at exactly...

Anyways what to do?

Well today I started to check flow. I took off the line to proportion valve brake peddle went to the floor. Took it off at the block on the frame (behind driver tire) where I connected new line brake went to the floor. Ran out of day light before I could check the rear of the new line to see if I could get it to come out back there.

By the way the block on top of the rear axle is just a " t" fitting right? It's not a valve correct?

Just to update it ended up being the rear line that is the rubber hose and the T fitting on the back. It was clogged up and I was also told they deteriorate and the rubber collapsed inside as well. So, u know it when I tried to take the lines off from the T fitting the lines were so rusted they just snapped. I purchased a new T fitting line and 2 standard brake lines. After bending everything I found out the T fitting is metric and also a bubble flare. Needless to say I didn't have the tools (and I bite at making flares) so I had to take it to the shop. $120 (wasted 20 on the brake lines I purchased at the auto parts store)..

Anyhow if ya all run into this problem there is probably you're answer.
