Rough idle after overheating

Default Rough idle after overheating

I have a 01 durango that over heated due to a blown upper radiator hose fixed the hose added coolent but now it idles rough and wants to stall when put into gear. What could this be? It was running fine till the hoes went out I shut it down befor I lost all my coolent.

It could be a damaged piston.

Could be coolant got all over the ignition system.

U need to have a compression test done to see if u cracked the heads or blew a head gasket..

that is where i would start after confirming everything is dried out properly
