Question Power steering pump reccomendations

Hello
I need to change my steering pump because its leaking
but i dont know which brand to get

Its for 5.9L engine

Im trying to avoid the mopar pump because i cant afford it right now

I have only 2 choices locally is either a duralast Part# 7108 or masterpro Part# 731-2147
Do any of you guys have any experience with these pumps?

I was also looking online and i can see more brand choices but they charge a core too
and i dont how much i can get back
after paying for shipping the core to them

Anyway please let me know what you guys think im trying to get a good pump for under $100
Thanks

Look at rock auto, it has a couple different parts along with the core charges. Even with the core charges on those, quite a few are cheaper than the duralast one without the charge. I guess it depends how quickly you need the part.

There are other options in Abq than AutoZone and O'Reily's. For one, NAPA has their Premium line one in stock at my local store, or their warehouse on 2nd St has it.

You should just have to go from lock to lock a couple times to bleed it. Keep an eye on the level in the reservoir.
