Head Gasket Repair on 4.7

My name is Sixpack Mitchell, from Chester, CT. I was wondering if I can get help with a question on changing a set of head gaskets. I have a 2002 durango with the 4.7 with 170k. This durango has been real good to me and family.
My question is, can I remove the heads to replace the gaskets, without taking the guts of the heads apart?
