I do have a brake controller, but my boat trailer has surge brakes. I had just replaced my entire boat trailer brake system and didn't want to dump another 500ish into that trailer.

Any body tried to put ram calipers on? I found it interesting that I could put 2500 calipers for a v10 or cummins on my 1500, what a difference that made.
