4.7 v8 no bus code, dies randomly
Apologies if this has been posted already but i dont know what else to do. I have a 2002 Durango 4.7L that will die randomly with no warning. When it dies all the gauges freeze for a few mins then go to the off position while the odometer flashes 3 times and displays no bus. Im open to suggestions though ive tried alot of stuff already

I just had the same problem with my 2002 Durango 5.9 RT. It shutdown once and wouldn't start. Then restarted later. After that, it wouldn't start again. I took it in to get it check and it turned out to be the PCM which is the computer. I replaced it with a new one and had to get the new PCM reprogrammed. I've heard of people buying used ones, but they still have to be reprogrammed to add your Vin number and mileage. Hope this helps.
