Define died. Also will need to know what engine we're talking about here. No bus is normally indicative of a bad PCM though.

Could be the crankshaft positioning sensor. It is on the passenger side of the engine. Only 1 bolt holds it in but it can be a pain to get out.

So it's cranking and not starting then? While that is something a crankshaft position sensor does when it quits, the no bus screams PCM. It is possible that the bad ckp could be interfering with the communications bus though.

No not cranking turn key nothing. After doing research sounds like computer. When turn key on it runs through light sequence then check gauge light comes on goes out odometer flashes then no bus appears. Will not turn over. Turn key to start position nothing

Well that sounds like it might be something else then. I'm tempted to say a weak battery or battery connections now knowing that the engine won't even crank.

Checked battery seemed ok, battery is only a year old. I was driving at road speed and the car just cut off, would not crank ( not even turn over) but all lights radio etc worked.
