Transmission problem

I have a 2000 Durango sport with a 4.7. I changed the filter and fluid and drove about 6 miles and the transmission quit. Any help would be helpful!

How many miles? What do you mean "quit"? No forward or reverse at all? Best to take it to a transmission shop for a diagnosis. It could be anything.
