2000 5.2 won't shift into overdrive
I just recently bought a 2000 Durango 5.2L. Having a few issues that I'm stuck at.
Transmission won't shift into OD. It started after I changed the pcm. I'm assuming its that. The guy told me the car has a 99 tranny in it and the other issue was overcharing. I had check engine light and injector 1 malfunction code. That was okay so switched the computer from a 2000 (407AE) and now no OD and have three codes 1682(charg sys volt too low) 1592(charg sys volt too high) and 622(alt field not switching properly). I saw it had a 99 pcm from solo (106AE).
Read that this was a transition year and changing the electrical components might do the trick. Does anyone what i have to change?
Anyone have an idea for the alt switch? Is it the plug?

When changing things like the pcm it's very important that you use the correct replacement or you will have nothing but issue or possibly burn something up.
My suggestion is to get the numbers off of the old pcm and get the correct one.
