Default intermediate steering shaft

hi guys,
I have to replace the lower intermediate steering shaft on my 2001 4.7.
ordered what I thought was a replica part form rock auto.
It is about 1 inch too short. It won't reach the lower rack+pinion stem and the upper steering wheel stem.

Does any know where I can look up OEM part numbers?
or does anyone have an exploded view with part numbers of the whole steering system?
All the places I look have the exact part I already have.

Even measured it up against the old one and it sure as hell is a different length.

Thanks

I hope you know they telescope. Might have just been shipped short for a smaller box.

I'm aware of how the shaft collapses and expands. This part does not fit my truck. I've expanded it as much as it goes and lined it up next to the old part I had to drill out to get off thanks to both bolt heads snapping off, and they are two different sizes.

Check the pinch bolt under the dash board at the steering column, mine was loose and gave me steering wheel play. I thought it might have been the intermediate shaft but was not

There is a difference between 2WD and 4WD shafts. You must've bought the wrong one. The former is more expensive if you price them.
