Take your old cable to a welding supply store, they will be able to find the right size of wire for you. There are two wires. One to the starter the other to the solenoid. The solenoid is just 10awg wire you can use the yellow connectors you can get from walmart, atwoods, autoparts stores, almost anywhere. The big wire the actually goes to the starter will need much bigger terminals. You can get those at a welding supply store as well. Check your battery connection side and the ring terminal on the starter side of the big wire to make sure you can make it work on your own. When I replaced my starter I noticed my wires were not in the best shape either. But I keep a pretty big assortment of wire and cables around so I already had what I needed to build my harness. Make sure to shrink wrap your connections to minimize exposed metal/wire. You can use a lighter to heat the shrink wrap if you're careful.
