I changed the CTM on my 2001 Durango. The lights were blinking, flashing, horn going off, clicking noise etc. before I put in the different (not new) CTM. The flashing lights and everything are fine only now the lights won't turn off.

 

If the used CTM is out of the Canadian vehicle (many on ebay are), it has daytime running lights, the law in Canada. To verify, see if the lights go out when you use the parking brake (I think that was the trick?, maybe was the hazard flashers?). If they go out, DRLs are set and you have to get the CTM pgmed at a dealer to USA. They can also program the CTM to receive sigs from the remote fobs too. I had to do all that a few months ago.
