Gonna rebuild the 360, upgrade the torque converter, and slap a shift kit in her. Making my D great again.

Quiet! Don't let the D hear you imply it was never great at any point. They know these things, are one with their surroundings, including you.

Example, I have a cover on the winch on my Jeep. Before I start a rock crawling off-road trip, I take the cover off. The rocks, like a troll under the bridge, see the cover off, know I'm serious and will not be denied, and let me pass without needing the winch.

More details on the rebuild please. You doing roller rockers or anything a bit fancy?

Jeep, nothing fancy. I may cam it but I doubt it. I'm working with a limited budget and my biggest concern is making the trans bulletproof. I'm gonna upgrade the torque converter and install a shift kit. I'll rebuild the engine since it is out bit I was initially only gonna reseal her since I've got some minor leaks. Funny thing is that summit is the cheapest rebuild kit I've found so far and it comes with new pistons. I live in Reno so summit is only a few miles away so forget paying shipping.
Guy, I had about 4 or 5 hours of labor into it over the course of the day. I had to stop halfway through when the sun started killing me. Now that I've done it to this beast I'm sure if I ever had to do it again I could shave off at least an hour.
