Question Tick-Roarr-Whumpa Connected ?

Had some startup ticking , Was city driving then ROAR, Whumpa Whumpa ? Left Side Exhaust Manifold flange rusted through and dropped the ypipe enough that I thought it might be rubbing on something because they happened simultaneously... about a mile or so from my starting point .. this was back in Feb BTW .. cold weather.. Got under and didn't see anything leaking or out of the norm..as best as I could tell that is so I drove it Home and Parked and left it for a month or so before I took another look just thing the Flange Bolts had to somehow be extracted from the manifold and tightened back up.. LOL ..
Did a little googling and found out about the manifold to exhaust port bolts busting and take it from there.. New Manifold, bolts, etc ..done ! I start it up ..alls good.. I don't make it a half a block and the Whumpa Whumpa starts up.. It's Coming from underneath somewhere accelerating, decelerating , coasting ? I think.. thinking the brakes, calipers, rotors, etc I start working my way around... little bit at a time not changing out everything I touch until I can figure out what it is..

So purely speculating here.. What possibly of been affected , computer , reduced back pressure, ( from the original leak and Max. 1-1 1/2 drive) when the Y-pipe Dropped ? Now it still was supported so it more or less Seperated from the Manifold a couple inches....But would of been fully supported underneath on the Right Side of the Vehicle as I don't think there's any hangers at the Y -Left split..

Totally forgot about the Whumpa until I drove it.. it was sitting or in the Garage 3 months before it hit the road..

Yeah BTW the prop. shaft is shot at the CV end and coming off today. AND now that I'm think about it is there any wiring or fuse that should be pulled if I decide to Move the D W/O the prop shaft out of the garage ? Mauybe I shoud Start a Different Thread On that Question..
