Default Just aint my day !

Changed my two transmission filters and refilled with STP + 4 fluid , 4qts , then started engine , moved selector through gears a few times , 1 more qt and test drove to get fluid hot then checked level and add 1 more qt to get to right level . Pretty straight forward job with just a slight mess on floor . Now the transmission light is on and I have a P0700 and a P0517 code . Anyone know what I did to cause that and how do you get the transmission light to go off ?
Oh , this is on a 03 Durango , 4.7L , 545RFE 5speed transmission , 86000 miles.

Thanks for any help or suggestions

Did you use OEM filters?

I used the Durofast filter kit .

I unhooked the battery and reset the computer and the light is off now . Will have to see if it comes back . I`m thinking when I moved the selector through the gears after the original 4 qts and ended up adding 2 more qts to get it to full (hot) that that set off the light . I tried looking up the codes but can`t find P 0517 . If it trips the light again I`ll check codes again and go from there .

JUST AN UPDATE ! Today I drove about 60 or so miles in traffic with lots of starts and stops and the light is still off and transmission performs great . Guess something just had to reset . Sometimes I just worry too much I guess . Still don`t know what the P0517 code was .

Update to the update : Well the engine light came on again and it slipped out of 1st then slammed into gear taking off from a stop sign . Will be taking it to the transmission shop next week . Not excited about that .
