Default What is normal for Fresh Air vent temp?

First post. I've referred to these forums to fix a few things already, thanks.

I find that when I have just fresh outside air coming through the vents, the air tends to be warmer than the outside air temperature. Is there something about the vent/ac design that contributes to this?
Question: Is this "warmer temp" normal?
If so, I won't keep looking to fix it. If not, I'll keep investigating.

Thanks.

Background:
I have a 2002 Durango, acquired 3 weeks ago. It has become my favorite vehicle to drive now. My first Dodge too. When I acquired it, the vent air always partially blew out of the lower/floor vents no matter what setting I had. Due to the info I found in these forums, I pulled the mode door actuator and cam/wheel, reset the control arms for all mode doors, and hey, everything works as expected. I pulled the Blend Door Actuators and found them working. I manually turned the blend door cogs to make sure that the actual blend doors directed and prevented cold/warm air at their max points and all seems ok. I have good cold AC in the dual system. I feel lucky after reading some of the posts here.

Yes. Fresh air is drawn into the vehicle from the cowl area, it gets warm there due to the engine and also ambient temps, so it is perfectly normal.
