Default I Need help with the Speed Sensor.

Does any one know where to change the output speed sensor circuit. I used the OBD II and it shows the code P0720 output speed sensor circuit. Where is it in the 2000 Durango engine?

If memory serves, it would be the sensor located at the rear axle. Part cost around $45-$50 bucks from dealer for 2000 model. Never found one from any aftermarket shops. 2000 models are odd year not to have alot of sensor parts at aftermarket shops.

I'm no expert, but I believe the output speed sensor is on the tranny, located under the bottom of the tranny. The sensor located on the rear differential is usually referred to as the "rear wheel speed sensor", but the "output shaft speed sensor" is usually referred to as the one on the tranny. Like I said, it is easily found just under the tranny, somewhere near the middle-bottom. Hard to miss, but also tends to drop a little fluid when you change it, since it is located below the regular fluid level.
