Default 33" tires 285/75r16 or 255/85r16 with T/S lift

This is not exactly a new topic but all of the research I have done indicates that both sizes will work with my '01 Durango with torsion bar/shackle lift (1.75") but I would like to see what accommodations need to be made in order to fit them. Most threads I have found have broken links or missing pictures.

I plan to take the family offload in the rocks (not mudding) so I am interested in any rubbing issues and under what conditions (full lock, full compression, etc.). Also, I plan to run the stock 16" wheel. Any insight on the subject is appreciated.

I rub at full lock both with 31x10.5R15 and 265/65R17 (same stock offset on both wheels), so I'd imagine 285s would be adding to that.

My 265/75/15s barely rubbed at full lock. My 32x11.50x15s rub worse at full lock. But still not bad. 33s I would imagine would be a lot worse.

255/85r16 measure 32.8" x 10.3". they are popular with the Toyota crowd to gain height without width which causes rubbing
