Default New PCM now car wont start

So i have a 2000 slt 5.9L 4x4 durango that i bought from a guy with a bad fender and bumper, replaced it all and drove it around for a while and found out it was in safety mode (transmission only doing 2nd and 3rd and engine running a little rough/underpowered).Started dying on me while driving so I took it to get tested and it threw 14 different codes and the recommended fix was a new PCM. Ordered the new one, and it was programmed to my vin model and mileage. I installed it, and started it and worked fine(idled a little high at first around 1250). Noticed a small difference but when the rpms started to lower to around 900 or so it started idling rough, and missing. It died and now it wont start. When i tried to initially restart it, it read all the gauges, fuel pump came on, and turned over. It caught at first but wouldnt run. Now all the gauges are zero'd out and wont even try to turn over. I really dont know what else to do atm.

If you can, read PCM fault codes. In my experience, rough idle in combination with transmission launching in 3rd can be related to the oxygen sensor and their wiring. The oxygen sensors share grounds with the transmission wiring. When the oxygen sensors go bad, they may leak current into the transmission governor pressure sensor circuit. If the upstream oxygen sensor wiring is bad, it will cause rough idle and make the engine die.
In your shoes I would run through the wiring in your truck. First make sure all the grounds are clean and connected. Make sure the battery is charged (12.3-12.6V) and its posts are clean. Make sure all fuses are working and their terminals have good contact. Make sure all relays are working and their terminals are clean and are properly seated. Then follow the wiring harness from the PCM to upstream oxygen sensor, downstream oxygen sensor, distributor, crankshaft position sensor, MAP sensor, throttle position sensor, intake air temperature sensor, engine coolant sensor, oil pressure sensor, and finally automatic transmission harness. Make sure the harnesses are not chafed, stripped, burnt, or have bare or shortened wiring anywhere.
If the engine won't start at all, try reading PCM codes and do the gauge cluster self test. Follow up on PCM codes (e.g. P0123) and gauge cluster codes (e.g 999).

Default Update

Sorry finally broke down and bought OBD-2 reader, and the truck threw only 1 code P1495 for the EVAP system. The truck is running only when i give it gas when i try to start it but it womt hold the idle, and it surges pretty bad. After about 10 minutes itll hold an idle, but still surges pretty bad. Does anyone know what part of the evap system would cause this to happen?
