heater core flush
Hi all 1st time poster here
ok IE.. NOOB!!!!!!!!
Found this site by googling problem I had with very little heat on wifes 98 Durango.
I found this post but question i have is: how can I avoid getting air pocket in line? Could I leave hose hooked up to outlet (turned off of course) and reconnect inlet then do outlet and hope water stays in heater core. Or has anyone had any problems flushing this way?
Thanks,
Matt

Bah! never mind. Checked both the inlet and return hoses and they were hot. So core isn't clogged. It had heat better today, but it was also warmer, 35 degrees. I noticed luke warm when temps were in 17-20's and even after I drove to work. About 25minutes.

I think your problem is your thermostat housing. As for a bubble Don't worry about it, the core will be full.
