Default LOOK at this for me, need looks advice!

03 SXT 'bumper' cover on 99 SLT
I've been looking for months for a good looking, later gen cover/bar combo, after intersecting with a deer that also exposed BAD bumper rust.
I have a early SLT Plus, so it has body color painted bumper covers, and wheel flares - all dressed up in white monochrome.
I looked hard at other bumpers (custom stuff) and this late there's not much that well covers that low radiator arrangement other than Dodge.

So, I've been scouting the junkyard, to not find any white for my year at all, and none in better shape for the later style.
Yesterday I finally found a great shape dark gray assembly from a late SXT, and got it on. I like it, it will wear without losing paint (it has none!), and it covers that radiator, and yet adds just a bit of style to call out the front, like a bar or such would.

I'm considering going back for the dark gray rear too - whatta ya' think? Is the dark grey solo front always gonna' bother me, or would adding the dark gray rear balance it out?

Also, if anyone has multi year experience....

I believe my SLT+ had something between the bumper cover and the lower grill mount - maybe a fiber piece like tarpaper? I have staples in the OE cover and Christmas tree pins in the radiator bar. I'm thinking of drilling the new one and pulling just a inch or two to pin it to the bar also - does that sound right? No staple marks in the new one...

Will early foglights mount in the later cover? Same bits or new bits?

THX any and all!

Spray it with Plasti-Dip. When using white over dark colors, you'll need to put a mid-tone grey on there. Just head to their website or YouTube on how to do this. It holds up well.
