Default Can't find a sway bar to control arm retainer replacement

I have a 2000 durango r/t 5.9l. This is my 1st dodge and it wasn't in very good shape. Been doing alot of the work myself. After replacing the lower control arms and then put the front sway bar back on I admittedly forgot to tighten the retainer to the control arm bolts on one side. I know I'm an idiot, it's been a long 2 weekends working on it. Coming back from work I heard something drop and when I pulled over the bolts and retainer were gone. I've looked everywhere and on all part sites but can't find anything but the bushing. Need the retainer. Any help is certainly appreciated! Also with one side still well attached how bad is it to drive on it. Normally a wouldn't at all, but it's my only ride to work rt now. It's just 20 min on the highway. Straight line.

are you talking about the piece the holds the sway bar to the frame crossmember? Iv actually never heard of someone needing to replace one, so you will probably have to find a junkyard with a wrecked truck in it to go pull it off.

as for driving without it, you will have reduced roll resistance (more body roll) in corners, and you will likely chew up the remaining bushing so expect to replace them again if you decide to do that. Not something i would recommend doing tho, best to find the part and fix it properly.

edit: per the parts manual for the 2002 MY i believe this is the part you are looking for, but it may be different for the 2000 MY i dont have that parts manual available

Yup, that's probably either a junk yard part or a dealer part. It's an old truck, but that looks pretty generic, so may be on a lot of that vintage Dodges, might still be around dealer shelves. I'd probably pull the bar completely to drive it until you get the part.
