Default Spare tire

Just purchased a 2008 Durango, Spare that came with it is 235/65R17, but all the wheels on vehicle are 265/60R18. What would the correct OEM spare size be? I heard different things.

Check the door sticker for the factory size. The spare should be the same size.

If the diameter is close to the same as the other four, I wouldn't worry about it.

If it's a big deal to you, there are tire size calculators online. Just google "tire size calculator". You can then determine a good tire to achieve a similar outer diameter.

Almost an inch and a half diameter difference between those two sizes. Do not use that spare with your current set up.

I've never tried or measured, but I doubt you can fit a tire 1/5" larger in the crank up spare well.
