Default Hiya guys first ten tango question

Well it's snowing here and I had my newly acquired 2001 4.7 4x4 tango out i shifted it to 4wheel drive and there is a horrible bad bearing sound from the front now my question is will a 1999 5.9 tango front diff be geared the same as my 01 4.7

Unless some nimrod swapped out the gears, they are the same f/r. [....and no one here calls them a 'tango']

These came with 3.55 or 3.92. Make sure to match yours up. Also, someone may chime in on the matter, but I thought there may be something different in the front diffs on the 4.7's vs the 5.2/5.9. The 5.2/5.9 "kind of" integrate into the engine mounts, I don't know if the 4.7 used the same diff or not for that reason.

I don't know about physical fitment with the motors, but there were different front diffs used in some years. I think 2000 was a changeover year.
