Default Dodge ABS module disassebly

Hi all,

I'm trying to take apart my ABS module so I can repair it.

I took all the screws out. cut the rubber seal all around and started puling it apart. I get to the point where I have a gap but the cover won't separate. It looks like it's still connected. If I had to guess, on the "bottom" there are the 6 stainless ciclcles and the bottom plug. It looks like the bottom plug is still connected and there is a seal holding it in place. am I right or is it just press fitted and I just need a little more patience.,

Thanks!@

I would never (ever!) consider trying to repair an ABS controller. The FSM just shows remove and install procedures, no disassembly. I hope you never drive behind me.

post a pic of the module. I had to cut mine apart on my Pontiac to access the circuit board. repairing bad solder points may be all it takes. If it can't be repaired...the abs will be disabled but the service brakes will work normally.
