how do i drain the antifreeze??
The petcock should be on the drivers side at the bottom. Mine was plugged so I just removed the bottom radiator hose and replaced it because it was old.
i called myself looking real good, but i will look a little harder on the driver side. The lower radiator hose on mine does not come out of the bottom of the radiator it comes out about half way up, so if pulled it off i would only get half the antifreeze out.
That sucks. But you got to do what you got to do. Even if you drain the radiator you don’t even drop half your antifreeze. The rest of it is in the hoses, core, and block.
So why are you worried about it?[sm=confused06.gif]

I also have looked on the driver side lower left of the radiator and cannot find the valve. Do I need to remove the overflow tank and associated molding to see it? I need to install a thermostate gasket and my 2000 5.2 ltr v8.

Yeah ive got to drain mine soon, i bought my R/t like in november and i found that the asshat that had it before me, [sm=chairshot.gif] he put a little oil in the radiator[sm=yikesomg.gif], he must have had some oil in an anti-freeze container. Wat an idiot. But my truck runs fine, no overheating or anything but id feel aaaaaallllooooootttt better if i had the correct fluids in the right spot. Geeeaazzee.
pet **** drain valve is on the left (driver's) side bottom of radiator, to access it you must remove the fairing under the radiator, just pull it out enough to gain access, there should also be a little drain hose already attached.
