I recently have been having issues with the stock alarm system on my 2001 Durango R/T. The vehicle after sitting locked for a period of time will activate the tamper alarm when unlocked using remote(s)(three horn blasts) signalling the alarm has been activated. I know it has not been activated because I have locked it and stood by and tested the above. Anyone have any ideas?

 

I have been having the same problem. It is very sporatic. Will go off with the remote or key opening. Can't find much info so will take to dealer.
