Default 03 Durango 4.7 power steering pressure switch

it seems like my Durango doesn't have a power steering pressure switch but I'm still getting the obd2 code for it (P0552)? I found a harness attached to the high-pressure line with a connector on it with a cap over the connector and 2 wires coming out of the harness was the sensor not included on certain manufacturing months?

did you buy the truck new? it almost sounds like someone replaced the lines and got the wrong high pressure line. instead of getting the right one they just used what they had instead of taking it back for the right part.

I bought the car used with just over 100k miles from a dealer. I really don't care anyway but I do wonder if it was replaced.

it sure sounds like it was replaced and with the wrong part at that.
