Hello: 03 Durango . I need to replace a headlight bulb so I'm going to replace both headlight bulbs. Want to get the brightest bulbs available at a reasonable cost. Just wanted to know if anybody has any recommendations. Thank You . O - R .

 

I've had good luck with Silverstars. Better light without blinding oncoming drivers. Just remember, there are limits to how bright your headlights can be. Nobody enforces them, but there are limits. On a practical level, if you blind oncoming drivers and they cross the line and hit you, if they have a dash cam, they can prove you to be at fault.

 

I put LED Auxbeam FS2 series headlights in a couple of my vehicles and have been very happy. Auxbeam from my experience and research is a very good bang for your buck light. They were about $30 a set for my D

Silverstars are ****. LEDs in halogen housings are generally ****. The oem headlight housings on these trucks in general are ****.

Get yourself a set of the aftermarket lights with the optics in the reflector vs the lens and throw in a decent set of NAME BRAND 9007 bulbs. And don't get the bulbs on ebay, at least half of the bulbs on ebay are chinese counterfeits of the oem brand bulbs.
