Default Replace manual seat with power seat.

My old standby (03 SLT plus) got totalled so getting an 03 SXT no power seats, Is the wiring harness the same? I see on the sxt it has the fuses for both the power and heated seats. Only going to put in the drivers side will that be a problem? Any help diagrams etc would be helpful.

If there isn't a harness plug under the carpet under the seat, just run a hot and ground wires and you'll be good. You can probably hook into the factory connections in the fuse box.

Assuming you're getting the power seat from the totaled truck, you could follow the wiring or even move it over, but it *should* already be there.

Wanted to get it from the wrecked truck, but the insurance company settled quicker than I thought. Getting from a junk yard. I am planning on just using the track. I told the guy I deal with that I need the wiring harness if he can get it for me.

It shouldn't be a problem. He'll just snip some wires. Rarely do they sell wiring harness parts.
