was thinking of removing the clutch fan. I was told by some that the stock e-fan should be fine but I have second thoughts. is it possible to upgrade the small 12" e-fan with a 16" or so fan to compensate for the removed clutch fan? I was also told removing the clutch fan will result in a bump in mpg and a noticeable power increase. one reason I'm considering removing the fan is that I can easily spin the clutch fan with one finger with the engine cold and the fan still spins when you cold start it so I assumed it is faulty. is it possible to change when the e-fan comes on? doesn't it come on when the temp is at 185 or the ac is on? I was told getting the Superchips flashpaq t5 or whatever its called and I can change when the fan comes on? also, what fan would you recommend that's to not expensive but will get the job done? sorry for the multiple questions. any advice or info is appreciated in advanced.
