Can i manually close a cable driven blend door?
Hello
i have been reading the forums for some time but cant find an answer to my specific question
durango heater is blowing cold air from all the vents
the blower is working fine at any speed and the vent selector too
I changed the water pump and thermostat not too long ago Andi also flushed the heater core but no luck
im thinking that maybe the blend door is stuck or cable misaligned
How can i move the blend door manually without removing the whole dash
Is that possible?
I have a 99 durango 5.9 engine
Thank you in advance for any help you can provide

Well i can hold both those hoses and not get burned
I tried the same thing with the upper radiator hose and i can touch but not for long
When i did the core flush i was in a hurry and i felt that i didn't clean it that good but some water was still coming out on the other side
I plan to do it again once i have the time and maybe even use some kind of cleaner
But anyway i was asking about the blend door because i want to rule out that problem
