Unhappy Vent Ducts

Help please. After replacing a heater core on my 98’ Durango, I have noticed that when I select vent in selector, nothing comes out of the vents. When defrost is selected, it works. When floor is selected, it works, but when I select the vent, you can hear the blower very well but it will not come out any face vents. I hope I do not have to pull the dash out again. Hope someone can help me.

Does the air always come out of the defrost vents? That's the default with no vacuum.

It quits blowing out of the defrost and and just blows but not out of the vents.

Is it coming out of the floor then? Might be worth checking the vacuum diagrams in the fsm (PDF links in diy thread).
