Front speakers are not working on 2002 durango slt plus what type of speaker system should i get a coaxial or a componet one since I have two tweeters by the dash or does that even matter?

 

Go to crutchfield.com. They will hook you up with the correct speakers.

 

Pay attention to the resistance of the speakers if you have the infinity amplified system. The earlier ones at least used 2 ohm vs the standard 4 ohm speakers.

 

I have a 99 with the infinety system and replaced all four door speakers with Kicker 50 watt co-ax and they are still taking the punishment. For the price off amazon the sound and durability cant be beat!

 

Just installed a set of Infinity Primus PR5012IS speakers from Crutchfield. came with everything - tool about 45 minutes, Needed to adjust the brackets a bit - but it all fit perfectly after that and sound awesome. Nice to have infinity speakers with the infinity system - total cost was about $130.
