Default durango will not idle



went to start this morning had top clean posts on battery it then started but does not idle and check engine light comes on any ideas it got cold and daomp last night i was thinking maps but if anybody has any other ideas feel free to help thanks Dave</P>

best bet is to have the PCM scanned....you said it threw a code right? go to auto zone and have them scan it for free. save a lot of time guessing seeing as how it will tell you exactly whats up.

found the problem I called my brother and he told me to diconnect the battery and let computer reset then try i did this and it worked what must have happened when the termenals were cleaned that morning they must have done something funky to computer because its working now and the battery was tested and is fine thanks for the replies Keep the rubberside down , Dave</P>

good deal!! the best kinds of repaires are the easy/cheap ones!! LOL

so do you have any mods done to your truck yet??? any thing planned??

no dont have any mods other then filter but am planning to get dual pipes and some glass packs or turbo mufflers there are a few systems por the durango. I would like to get stainless steele If anyone has tried a system or made one themselves let me know how they worked and if they have a good sound? this is the wifes truck so not to loud (I am looking into a new truck I like the hemi but believe it or not i like the new Ford!!!

if you want a good deep low rummble with out the constant noise get a magnaflow...or mopar performance exhaust but they scream once you get on em!!!!
