Misfire #5....any advice?

RE: Misfire #5....any advice?
I sorry to hear all the problems that you have had. Some problems are to be expected with any vehicle but you've had a real rough time with that one. My Durango is my first Dodge and although I have had some early problems I hope that things smooth out for the rest of the year at least. I have never owned anything that didn't need some repairs. I figure that any used car should cost a couple grand a year give or take. I guess if you want warranty you can buy new but then you'll pay $45000 for what your now getting for $10000. Pick your poison.
For me I need the features that the Durango has but if you don't need the enclosed cabin a Dakota may be the way to go. Pretty similar potential for the same problems though.
On the plus side if there is one, you now know exactly what to look for in terms of inspecting a potential Dodge truck. I would highly suggest you have a mechanic do a full check on anything you might buy. Could be money well spent.

My basic requirements is a CD player and 4x4 (preferably an offroad package) but I'll take what I can get. I don't mind dropping a little now and then on a vehicle but some things are just rediculous. I'm still doing my research on what all is out there and at my disposal but I need something that's covered under recalls and has some warrany attached to it. CARMAX actually has a pretty good warranty package attached so I'm doing a lot of shopping with them these days. Anyways it's been a good ride but it's got the for sale sign up in the window
