Does your SLT have a overhead computer console with display screen ? I thought they were standard on the SLT and that's where the ambient temperature would be displayed... if you have it

Problem solved!!!...Not a problem.

It was not getting the engine hot enough. By connecting my scan tool it runs at about 185. Even with a 195 thermostat. It's cold here so no surprise.

So I blocked the radiator and turned on the ac. It was tough to get it to heat up but the radiator fan kicks on at 205. I didn't bother seeing where it turns on with no ac commanded. From my research 210. Have to wait till summer to see. I am sure it will turn on whenever the computer decides it needs to be on.

A little piece of mind that the fan will work when it is needed...i.e. Chicago traffic in the summer.

Cheers...
