WTF, it need 40l
thats from a friend of mine.
She's her Durango since about 1 month.
it's a 4,7 SLT, she's driven home about 500km after buing the car, there've been no probs.
after 3 days the engine light startet to glow and the car is drinking about 40l / 100km. The Chrysler worksop sayed the "lamda probe" is broken. New "lamda probe", new Oil, 8 new sooted spark plugs.
after 60km, ....
same 5]-[1t!
someone has a idea????

Thats an oxygen sensor, if that did fail you may notice the vehicle using alot of gas. Im not sure about the oil unless you had them change it but for the plugs, with that mileage and a bad oxygen sensor, the plugs will foul out
