Finally adopted a Dodge Truck
If you've read my past posts you know I'm primarily here because I like the FWD Dodges. However, I spun a rod bearing in my Spirit RT this past three weeks ago and since my brother bought a new Hemi equipped base ST Ram standard cab for our work, and my dad bought an SLT standard cab 2wd Hemi Ram this past Fall for play, I finally gave up my secret love affair for my GM small blocks. Here's what I bought. A white SLT Durango with 5.2 and sport grill/bumper/running boards. 1998 model with only 74,400 miles. The paint was beautiful and no dents. It looks a lot like an ol' granny had this thing. Anyway, this is one vehicle that will likely stay stock, but my brother's company logo scheme includes rally stripes, so I'm thinking about dressing up a bit with chrome rally stripes and some chrome outer pieces.
I know, I know, Dusty and RR--it's not the SRT-4 I was intending, but since giving up computer support and going to work for my brother I've been needing a 4X4 work truck of some kind.
Here's my dilema: The wife says I have to get rid of the neon and the Jimmy. So. . . I have an LT-1 in my garage (that I bought for the Jimmy project). What do I do with it? I could put it in the Camaro for some nice power with good mileage, etc., but I really prefer the built up 400 that's in it. Any ideas from you Dodge guys what I should do with this GM short block? (It's got corvette programming on the computer and corvette injector covers--'95 300 horse rated corvette. . . . maybe I should just sell it off again?)

Thanks! I think I'm definitely at that point. I can always get another if I have a project for it and . . . I . . . would kinda like to have $ to finance a procharger or magnacharger for the Durango . . . now that I've been looking at parts for it.
Yup, sell it and put the money into the Durango! I know you said you wanted to keep it stock but c'mon man! With so many stock Durangos out there you have to stand out from the crowd!
