Removing a Fan

Can anyone tell me how to remove a fan on a 1999 Dodge Durango? Does the not turn left or right? What can you use to hold the water pump from turning? Any help is appreciated.

I recently changed the fan clutch on our 2000 Durango, you will need a strap wrench to hold the pulley while turning the nut, forget which way the nut turns, but it's not hard to take off, hope this helps.
