Hi guys, I just bought a 98 SLT a few weeks ago. I was going to change the oil this weekend, but it didn't come with an owner's manual. Is the proper weight 5-30 or 10-30? Also, how much oil? I'm guessing around 5 qts, but I'd rather be sure. Thanks guys.

 

Mine take's 5.5 Quarts. Yours says 5 Quart capacity. But it is always good to have another one on hand just in case you have to top it off.

 

depending on your climate ,,if its real cold do 5w-30 but when it starts to warm up ,,anything above 65 go 10w-30,,,i use mobile 1 since day one ,its uced by dodge on all vipers
