Last year (2005) we had to sell our 2002 Dodge Durango with the 4.7L V8 in hunter green with the chrome grill. We sold it for $14,500 and we kinda agreed that was pretty low. It had 44,000 miles and it was flawless. We started out at $18,000, but sold it to some lady who lives 15 minutes away. Just a question.

I just paid $15K for an 03 with just under 24K miles.

 

Also, is it 2WD or 4WD? 2WD, you got a good deal, 4WD, about average fair price. Especially now the generation 2 Durangos are out, it lowers the blue book price for generation 1 Durangos a little more.

 

Yeah it had 4WD (same truck in my sig) and was in beautiful condition; not includin' the dog hair from the one in the sig stickin' his nose out the window. Like I said, I feel we got ripped off 'cause I was lookin' and seen similar trucks with more miles goin' off the market for more. But I guess it doesn't seem that bad at all.

I would consider youreself lucky, GenI Durangos are selling for crap now. You can pick up an 03 4x4 with really low miles for less than $15,000 and ive started seeing new lows for the 1998 4x4s in the low $3,000 with just over 100,000miles. It seems most arent selling for more than $10,000 as an avg.

 

I paid just over $9k for my 2000 4x4 SLT about a year ago from a dealer. New tires, 60k on the clock, and super clean.
