It looks like I'm probably going to buy a durango that needs a new rear differential, does anyone know of a dealership that has particularly good prices, or a place to get a cheap differential maybe remanufactured, new, used? I serached but didn't really come up with anything.

Well the first place I'd look would be your local junk yard. Of course there is no guarantee on condition of the axle. I found this place on line that can probably help you. Try this Jaws Gear, see if you find what you need there.
