Oil sludge and Blown motor only 4.7 problem?
Just got a 2000 SLT + w/5.9
41,000 miles
Is this oil sludge and blowing motor issue just on the 4.7? It's the only one I am seeing threads about on the different boards I look on.

Nope-any engine will sludge up and blow apart if neglected. They don't don't tell you the part about not changing the oil when they are crying about the longevity huh? I service about a dozen 4.7's a day and all my customers come in between 3-5K for oil changes. I have never seen a 4.7 problem in my shop.
