Hey Guys! I was wondering if anyone could tell me about the 4wd drive system in my 2002 Durango SLT AWD with 4WD on demand. For Instance, what are the gear ratios for 4hi and 4Lo? as well what kind of axles do I have are they open or limited slip?

Most Durangos are open rears.
Axle ratios vary.but i'd guess they are probabally around 3:23 ratio.
Should be a tag on the rear.
Or you could jack the rear up, hold one wheel still, mark the tire to be spun and count revolutions on the drive shaft per one revolution on the tire.
Double the amount on the drive shaft, i.e. 1 1/2 turns on the driveshaft = 3.00 ratio.
If it is a posi both wheels spin, just count revs on the shaft and thats it.
A little more than 3 and its @ 3.23, for example.
