Default intermittent warning bell, 2001 Durango

I've got an odd problem, an intermittent warning bell, like the bell you might hear if your seatbelt isn't fastened or you open the door while moving. It goes off at irregular intervals and it doesn't seem to matter whether I'm moving or not. Once I was in the driveway in park, but usually I'm moving. I may go 20 minutes without it happening and then it might happen twice within 2 minutes. No warning lights are on and the check engine light is not on. I've been lucky enough to be looking at the dash when the bell sounded and didn't even see the flicker of a light. Any ideas? I'd love to fix this without resorting to the dealer which is very inconvenient for me.

I had that problem in a Neon, but all the lights came on like when you start it as well as the warning bell. Problem found was the battery had a bad cell and kept grounding. Replaced battery.
