Default Problems with my baby.

I have a 2000 Durango with the 4.7 liter V-8 and 4 speed automatic. It is the all wheel drive SLT+ version. Recently when driving down the road my tach will be reading 2100 and then surge to 2500 sometimes all the way to 3000. Now I don't know what causes this, but it is really bothering me. This happens with or without the cruise control on. If you have any ideas please let me kow.

Also, I hooked up the diagnostic and received this message. Injector misfire on cylinders 1,2,3,4,6,8. Does anybody know what would cause this and how to fix it? Let me know all opinions.

Thanks

Aaron

I would look for cracked or loose vacuum hoses for the rpm spikes.
All but one cylinder acting up? Try clearing the error codes out of th pcm and see if the problems continue
