Default RKE Keyless entry problem after changing CTM

I recently had a problem when locking my 01 Durango SLT. After locking with the keyfob I could not get the car open again. After using the key in the door I found the central locking would no longer function along with the headlights, internal lights and the wipers would only work intermitantly. I tracked the fault down to the CTM (Central Timer Module) and replaced it. Everything worked OK again EXCEPT the keyless entry.

I'm assuming that the keyfobs now need to be reprogramed/changed, but none of the programing instructions work (I assume because I don't now have a working keyfob).

Does anyone know if changing the CTM requires new remote keyfobs? Or is it possible that the keyless entry system was responsible for busting the CTM?

My Durango is now in the UK so popping down to the dealer in CA is not an option! Any help would be greatly appreciated!
