Installing Hitch on 2002 SLT 4.7
Hey guys, just got a 2002 Durango SLT, and bought a hitch to install. The hitch seems to fit the frame properly but there's 1 problem with it:
There is a section on the hitch with 3 holes that line up with 3 holes on the frame---but the holes on the frame are covered by a welded piece--and there's no way to get to them! Anyone have experience with this? Or is there a different type of hitch I should get for this particular model? I've tried a couple of different times to make it work, but there's just no way to get the bolts into the built in nuts on the hitch. I'd appreciate any help you guys can give me.
I've been reading through the forum, and you guys have done a great job up to this point. Great to have a resource like this available.
